The House of Music will transform the historic First Church of Christ, Scientist at 2243 13th Street into a vibrant community arts and music hub. Designed by Glen Huntington—who also created the Boulder Courthouse and Bandshell—this Greco-Roman landmark will be repurposed into a space for music education, professional recording, and live performances. This project aligns with the mission of the Boulder Community Charity, House of Loving Awareness, Inc.: Rebuilding Community with Creativity and Collaboration. It will preserve a historic building while fostering artistic growth and inclusivity, especially for underserved youth and emerging artists. By partnering with local schools, nonprofits, and community organizations, the House of Music will enrich Boulder’s cultural landscape.Underserved Youth: Free or low-cost lessons for kids who lack access to music education.Local Musicians & Artists: A creative space to record, rehearse, and showcase their talent. The Boulder Community: Concerts, performances, and events for all to enjoy.Schools & Nonprofits: Partnering with local schools to provide music programs and outreach.Music connects, educates, and empowers. As schools cut music programs, access to arts education is shrinking. The House of Music will fill this gap by creating a welcoming space for creativity and collaboration.By revitalizing a historic landmark and making it a community-driven arts hub, we’re not just preserving history—we’re making it. Let’s build something unforgettable together.ContactReverend Willow Jon Collamer President,
